GPT-6 Astra needs leaner prompts and fewer guardrails, OpenAI recommends

Eric Provencher from OpenAI warns that overly long skill descriptions and blanket reading requirements can hinder the GPT-6 Astra model. He emphasizes that more capable models require less hand-holding, urging developers to tie instructions to specific tasks. Clear and direct instructions are essential, with explicit indications of when a task is completed. This approach helps improve the model's performance and enhances its effectiveness in various applications. These recommendations are crucial for developers aiming to maximize the capabilities of GPT-6 Astra, enabling them to design smoother and more effective AI experiences.
