Thinking Machines wants to build an AI that actually listens while it talks

Thinking Machines aims to transform user interaction with AI models by developing a system that processes inputs and generates responses simultaneously, rather than the traditional listen-and-respond method. This innovation makes interactions with AI resemble a phone call instead of a text-based exchange. This advancement is significant for enhancing user experience, as it could lead to smoother and more natural interactions. By synchronously handling inputs and responses, the AI can better understand context and provide more accurate replies. Such interaction could pave the way for new applications of AI in everyday life.
