Plaintiff hid invisible AI instructions in court filings to secretly influence automated review

A Connecticut court revoked a plaintiff's electronic filing privileges after he embedded invisible prompt injections in court documents. These injections were formatted in 3-point white text on a white background, aiming to manipulate a potential AI review system. Although the court clarified that AI is not used for reviewing filings, the plaintiff's intent alone was sufficient to impose sanctions.

World Labs turns one real-world robot task into thousands of simulated variations for training

World Labs, founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li, has launched a simulation engine that trains robot controllers entirely in virtual environments. The system generates thousands of variations from a single real-world task, enhancing training effectiveness. The trained models were then run for one hour each on five different robot platforms without human intervention, paving the way for new possibilities in robotics.

New benchmark confirms AI models still perform poorly at visual perception

The PerceptionBench test conducted by Moonshot AI revealed that multimodal AI models fail to achieve 60% accuracy in visual perception. The GPT-5.6 Sol model leads with a narrow margin, highlighting the challenges these models face in understanding images. The findings indicate that many logical errors attributed to reasoning actually occur at the image-reading stage, reflecting a fundamental weakness in how models process visual inputs. This underscores the need for improvements in the deep learning algorithms employed by these models.
