ETL Pipeline Patterns for Reliable, Scalable Automation

ETL systems (Extract, Transform, Load) are essential for transferring data between systems. These systems gather data from multiple sources, transform it into a consistent format, and load it into destinations like data warehouses. Reliable ETL operation requires mechanisms for error handling and ensuring data quality. The ETL process consists of three main stages: extracting data from various systems, transforming it to meet business rules, and loading it to its destination. ETL differs from general data pipelines by focusing on data quality and error control. Each ETL process should include a notification mechanism for error occurrences.
