Reka AI's omni-model Rho-1 handles text, images, video, and robot control in a single model

Reka AI has announced the launch of its Rho-1 model, which features 19 billion parameters and processes text, images, video, and robot control through a single neural network. The model was trained on 320 H100 GPUs in about three months, utilizing a fraction of the compute power required by today's leading models. Instead of routing tasks to specialized systems, Rho-1 runs all modalities as tokens in one shared context window.

Connecting AI agents to enterprise knowledge

AI agents in enterprises face a significant shortcoming: a lack of knowledge, which hampers their ability to make reliable decisions. A survey of 300 executives reveals that only about 34% of agentic AI projects reach production. Key obstacles include legacy data systems, security concerns, and insufficient context. The findings indicate that organizations with strong knowledge capabilities see greater success in their agentic projects, with an average of 61% of projects in leading firms advancing beyond pilot stages. These organizations excel in semantic knowledge, providing them a competitive edge.
