Verdant forecasts about 10,400 operational jobs by 2035, which is roughly a quarter of Tech UK's estimate of 40,200 jobs. Tech UK's estimate relies on the assumption of generating 8.5 jobs per megawatt, while Verdant argues the figure is closer to 1.2 jobs per megawatt.
