KAUST Hosts 13th Saudi HPC/AI Conference

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) hosted the 13th Saudi HPC/AI Conference from October 26 to 28. The conference aimed to exchange knowledge, showcase scientific advances, and explore collaboration opportunities, enhancing the national dialogue on the role of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) in accelerating discovery and innovation. The event gathered around 400 researchers, industry leaders, and government representatives from across Saudi Arabia, alongside international experts. KAUST President Professor Edward Byrne emphasized the importance of these technologies in advancing the Kingdom's research and development priorities, highlighting their significant potential in healthcare, energy, environmental sustainability, industry, and the digital economy.
