Perplexity Launches Its Own AI Agents for Work

Perplexity has announced the launch of work-focused AI agents called "Teammates." These agents can perform multiple roles within a workspace, leveraging existing projects, skills, and memory from the Perplexity tools already in use. The Teammates integrate with Perplexity Computer, an AI system capable of deploying agents on user devices to complete tasks. Perplexity states that Teammates "build on top" of Computer by enabling collaboration and the completion of "ongoing, large-scale work."
