Tencent Expands Hy4 Capacity Tenfold After WorkBuddy Demand Surge

Tencent announced on November 5 that it has expanded the inference cluster for its Hy4 large language model tenfold due to a surge in usage on WorkBuddy, where many users reached their quotas on the model's first day. According to a notice from the Tencent Hy and WorkBuddy teams, the company has also increased free usage quotas and will continue reallocating resources as demand shifts. The teams cautioned that limits may still occur during peak times due to constraints on high-end computing capacity.
