VAST Launches EdenLive: Real-Time AI Video Generation Model

VAST, a 3D generative AI company, has announced the launch of EdenLive, an open-source model that re-renders video footage in a chosen style. The release includes 5B and 14B model weights, real-time streaming inference code, and a technical report. EdenLive does not simulate the world independently; it relies on an upstream program like a game engine to run rules and track the world state. This separation keeps game logic explicit and allows the model to focus on appearance, with the approach first introduced in June as part of Project Eden.
