Prompt Testing Frameworks for Production AI Workflows

Prompt testing frameworks help catch regressions in LLM projects before they reach production. Without testing, you may tweak a prompt, spot-check examples, and launch when results seem better, leading to user complaints later. Prompt testing requires a different approach than traditional software testing since LLMs do not behave consistently. The same prompt can yield different responses each time, making exact-match tests unsuitable. There is also a greater chance of outputs being technically correct but still inappropriate.
