Broadening access to Skala creates a faster path to predictive DFT

Microsoft has launched Skala 1.1, trained on 2.5 times more data than its predecessor, significantly improving accuracy in key molecular simulation challenges. The new version integrates Skala into tools like CP2K, Psi4, FHI-aims, ORCA, and VASP, enhancing DFT accuracy for scientific communities. Microsoft aims to introduce living benchmarks to track the computational performance of future Skala releases, facilitating the measurement of progress towards greater accuracy and efficiency in chemical simulations.
