Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN teases new AI laptop designed to replace apps with ‘intent’

HUMAIN, owned by the Public Investment Fund, has offered a first look at a new AI laptop designed to run powerful AI models directly on the device rather than relying on cloud services. This laptop has been developed in collaboration with US chipmaker Qualcomm over the past 12 months. According to CEO Tareq Amin, HUMAIN's greater ambition is to rethink how users interact with their computers in the age of AI. The new system aims to allow users to tell the computer what they want to accomplish without opening multiple applications, potentially streamlining task completion more efficiently.
