Kimi Apologizes to Users for Rate Limiting and Refunds Part of Subscription

Kimi, the AI assistant from Moonshot, has apologized to its members for rate limiting and unnecessary quota consumption on the new K3.1 Pro model. The company announced on October 26 that it will refund 25% of the monthly quota to each subscriber, equating to about a week of usage. Launched on October 24, the K3.1 Pro is touted as the most capable model yet, featuring around 3 trillion parameters and a 1 million token context window. Kimi has also implemented configuration changes to reduce quota consumption, allowing users to complete more real tasks with the same allowance.
