McKinsey Introduces AI Simulation in Job Interviews

McKinsey & Company announced that it will ask some entry-level candidates to engage in a 10-minute conversation with an AI simulation of a client as part of the interview process. This simulation aims to reflect 80% of the scenarios that McKinsey consultants might encounter in their daily work, according to The Wall Street Journal. The AI simulation will not score the candidates; instead, humans will be present to assess how well candidates handle the simulated situations. The new tool will be tested for undergraduates seeking business analyst positions in some offices.
