UBTECH and FAW-Volkswagen Take Humanoid Robots From Quality Inspection Into Factory Logistics

On October 8, UBTECH Robotics announced a strategic cooperation agreement with FAW-Volkswagen to develop and test application scenarios for smart logistics robots. This partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of humanoid robots in smart manufacturing and enhance industry-wide smart solutions. The deal builds on an existing deployment where the Walker S Lite robot conducts vehicle quality inspection training at FAW-Volkswagen's Qingdao Branch, a national-level smart manufacturing demonstration factory. The robot has been integrated with the plant's automation control system, enabling it to perform complex tasks with precision.
