Anthropic gives more security teams access to Claude with fewer safety restrictions

Anthropic has announced the expansion of its Cyber Verification Program, allowing more security professionals to access Claude models with fewer safety restrictions for penetration testing and malware analysis. Partners in the previous program identified at least 129,000 confirmed vulnerabilities from April to July 2026, including over 33,000 rated as high-severity or critical.
