Inside-Out AI: Rebuilding Airbnb Behind the Scenes and Across the Guest Experience

Ahmad Al-Dahle joined Airbnb as CTO in January after leading generative AI at Meta. His goal is to transform Airbnb into an AI-native company by leveraging AI to accelerate product development and enhance customer experience. Airbnb employs an "inside-out AI" approach, utilizing a custom internal tool called Everest to expedite the launch of new services.
