Google Challenges EU Decisions on AI Competitor Access

Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has challenged two EU orders requiring it to assist competitors in AI, like OpenAI, in accessing its services. Google argues that these measures undermine privacy guarantees and could cause irreparable harm to users in Europe. In July, EU antitrust regulators mandated Google to help its competitors utilize services for the AI model 'Gemini' under the Digital Markets Act. Google believes these compliance measures will negatively impact user privacy and security, escalating tensions with regulatory bodies.
