Gemini can now call businesses for you so you don’t have to wait on hold

Google has announced a new feature on the Pixel 11 that allows users to delegate local business calls to its Gemini system. Users can now request Gemini to make calls for tasks such as booking appointments or checking product availability without having to dial themselves. This feature operates through the Gemini app, where users can tell Gemini to call on their behalf. Gemini will make the call, introduce itself, navigate automated phone menus, and wait on hold, streamlining the communication process with businesses.
