Apple might make servers again to cash in on the AI rush

Apple is planning to re-enter the server market through a potential partnership with Nvidia, as reported by sources. After retiring its Xserve line in 2011, Apple left enterprise machines to other manufacturers, but the increasing demand for compute power in the AI industry has prompted the company to reconsider this market. The popularity of its ARM-based processors, such as the Mac Mini and Mac Studio, among AI developers has led to shortages of these products. The new server product, whether named Xserve or something else, is expected to debut in 2029.
