Mistral raises €3 billion in funding round

Mistral, the French AI company, has raised approximately €3 billion in a Series D funding round led by Samsung Electronics. This funding has boosted the company's valuation to over €21 billion as it aims to expand its efforts in building sovereign AI. This funding round is noted as the largest equity funding round for a European technology company, with new investors like Advent and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg joining.
