Lovable CTO: The Future of SaaS Is Apps That Agents Can Use

Lovable is a well-known AI-powered platform for building applications, but it is now moving towards a future with less reliance on conventional apps. In a recent blog post, Lovable outlined its vision for "a digital brain for your team connecting your daily tools," with CTO Fabian Hedin emphasizing a single entry point for all work. While Lovable aims to remain the tool for app development, it will also enable users to create what Hedin calls "capabilities." A capability is defined as a useful part of an application that an agent can directly call, eliminating the need for human users to open the app.
