NVIDIA has launched the Jetson Orin Nano 2, an edge robotics computer designed to enhance physical AI in drones and robots. This board serves as an entry-level option for developers wanting to run AI models directly on-device rather than relying on data centers. The company asserts that small and medium models have achieved accuracy levels comparable to those of larger models from a year ago, enabling compact hardware to interpret language and images in real-time. Deepu Talla, NVIDIA's VP of Robotics and Edge AI, stated that the Jetson Orin Nano 2 makes this breakthrough accessible to millions of developers.
