Abu Dhabi’s TII helps found AI trust standard

The Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi has joined AMD, Intel, and OPAQUE as a founding collaborator of the TRACE standard, aimed at providing verifiable evidence of AI system operations. The institute will contribute its expertise in confidential computing and post-quantum cryptography, serving as a reference deployment environment for the standard. TRACE addresses the gap in understanding how AI systems operate by providing verifiable proof of their actions, rather than relying on trust. This standard allows for verification of the rules followed by the systems and how they utilized the provided data.
