Google AI health coach to use Abbott glucose data

Abbott has announced a partnership with Google to integrate continuous glucose monitoring data with AI-powered health tools. Under this agreement, data from Abbott's Lingo glucose monitor will be incorporated into the Google Health app, allowing users to view glucose trends alongside activity and sleep information. Google's Health Coach, built on Gemini technology, will utilize Lingo data to provide recommendations on nutrition, activity, and sleep. Access to the AI coach requires a Google Health Premium subscription, with Google warning that AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete.
