NVIDIA and Local AI Community Fuel Open Source Models and Intelligent Agents

NVIDIA has announced the expansion of its Nemotron model family with the launch of Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, an open 30 billion mixture-of-experts model. This model delivers up to 4x faster token generation and 30% faster completion time compared to open models in its class. The Nemotron 3.5 Lightning model allows developers to customize it according to their needs, enhancing local AI capabilities. Users can train the model on specific tasks such as writing emails in a preferred style or understanding language in areas like photography or coding.
