Nanyang Technological University, Peking University, and BAAI Release Omega-0 — A Whole-Body Action Model That Hits 81.8 Percent Success on Real Home Tasks

Researchers from Nanyang Technological University and Peking University have launched Omega-0, enabling humanoid robots to walk, look, and work simultaneously. The model achieved an 81.8% success rate on 11 real-world home tasks, outperforming previous models like pi-0.5 and EgoVLA. The significance lies in its architecture, which predicts future visual features rather than pixels, allowing a diffusion transformer to generate full-body actions. Omega-0 features a three-stage training process, starting with a vision-language model for whole-body actions.
