OpenAI to invest in Dublin headquarters

OpenAI has announced plans to expand its European headquarters in Dublin, adding 250 new jobs over the next two years. The company will relocate to a new 88,000 sq ft office in the docklands, having established its European headquarters in 2023. The new roles will cover areas such as engineering, sales, user operations, human resources, and finance, alongside expanding the 'OpenAI for Ireland' program to support young developers and startups. Notably, ChatGPT now has over 1 million users in Ireland, with local businesses utilizing it in software development and customer service.
