Nvidia Offers $250 Billion Financing Guarantees to OpenAI

Nvidia is in talks to provide financing guarantees of up to $250 billion for OpenAI's data center project in southern Ohio. This guarantee will assist OpenAI in leasing a 10-gigawatt project, enhancing its ability to control its infrastructure rather than relying on other companies. The deal covers the data center lease and debt financing but does not include Nvidia chips. Nvidia is also negotiating to finance OpenAI's chip purchases worth up to $350 billion, which strengthens the financing tools for the project.
