81% of UAE organisations expect AI to push network capacity to its limits within three years

A new study by Cisco in collaboration with Foundry reveals that UAE organizations have approximately three years before AI-driven network traffic significantly increases. The research surveyed 200 IT leaders in the UAE and 3,472 globally, confirming that the rapid growth of large language models and generative AI is placing unprecedented pressure on networks. Mohannad Abu Issa, Cisco's Medical Director and Head of Engineering, stated that UAE institutions show a strong ambition to adopt AI, but their network infrastructure needs to evolve at the same pace.
