China’s cybersecurity industry needs its own Mythos model, 360 founder warns

Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Security Technology, emphasized that China must develop its own equivalent to Anthropic's Mythos model to counter cybersecurity risks from the AI era. Released in April, Mythos can autonomously identify software vulnerabilities, accelerating discovery by a hundredfold and significantly reducing costs. Zhou described the US technology as a "cyber nuclear weapon," highlighting the substantial threat it poses. This dramatic shift in vulnerability management necessitates a swift response from China to secure its digital infrastructure against emerging threats.
