At ISC, JUPITER Shows What Exascale Science Looks Like

The JUPITER supercomputer, launched by the Jülich Research Center in Germany, is Europe's first exascale computer, utilizing NVIDIA Grace Hopper chips. This system will facilitate four major projects, including mapping the human brain at the cellular level and simulating Earth's climate with one-kilometer precision. JUPITER is a pioneer in high-performance computing, enabling the resolution of scientific problems previously unattainable with older systems. The brain mapping project, led by researcher Katrin Amünts from the Jülich Institute of Neuroscience, employs the CytoNet model to analyze brain structure.
