Arabic AI has a trust problem, not a language problem

The Arabic language is gaining importance in government and business, with Saudi Arabia investing $100 billion in a transformation project to become one of the top 15 countries in artificial intelligence by 2030. Despite current models being able to produce fluent Arabic text, accuracy remains a challenge. An ALPS study indicates that these models struggle with understanding grammatical structures, impacting interpretation accuracy in legal and financial contexts. This gap in Arabic AI means that while models may appear correct, they can be inaccurate.
