Meta unveils new AI agent

Meta has launched a smart business agent designed to assist companies with daily tasks. Named "Business Agent," it allows any company, regardless of size, to interact with customers around the clock. Since June 3, 2026, the agent has been globally available and is already being utilized by over one million businesses on WhatsApp and Messenger. The Business Agent can be set up in minutes and integrates seamlessly with existing company infrastructure. It is capable of handling conversations in local languages, answering specific questions, providing product recommendations, scheduling appointments, and qualifying leads.
