NVIDIA Research Advances Robotics From Simulation to the Real World

Robotics is entering a new phase, transitioning from demonstrations to reliable autonomy in the real world. At the ICRA conference, NVIDIA presented 28 papers detailing how the shift from simulation to reality serves as a foundational aspect of this transition. The research addresses challenges such as coordinating multiple arms, developing general policies, and interacting with novel objects. Key technologies in this field include ScheduleStream, which allows robotic arms to plan and move in parallel, achieving speed increases of up to three times.
