Egrobots unveils AI-powered harvesting robot built entirely by Egyptian engineers

Egrobots has launched the first autonomous agricultural robot developed entirely by Egyptian engineers. The robot employs AI, computer vision, and autonomous navigation systems to identify ripe crops and perform harvesting tasks with high efficiency. It can be equipped with four robotic arms, enabling a productivity rate of up to 160 kilograms per hour. Founded in Egypt in 2023 by Ahmed Al-Abbar and Omar Saleh, Egrobots specializes in autonomous robotics and AI systems. The new robot represents a significant advancement in smart agriculture, utilizing advanced technologies that allow for real-time decision-making and data analysis.
