Google tests Remy AI agent for Gemini as focus turns to user control

Google is testing a new tool called Remy, a personal agent within the Gemini application aimed at simplifying users' daily tasks. Currently in a private employee trial, Remy is envisioned as a round-the-clock personal assistant. The project includes integrating Remy with various Google services, enhancing Gemini's capabilities in handling complex tasks and learning user preferences. With Remy, Google aims to expand Gemini's features beyond text responses. Connected applications include Gmail, Calendar, and Docs, along with external services such as GitHub and Spotify.
