ByteDance’s drug unit presents AI-designed therapies at global conferences

ByteDance, the Chinese owner of TikTok, is expanding its AI investments through Anew Labs, a drug-discovery unit. This unit, also known as Anew Therapeutics, has begun presenting its AI-designed therapies at international conferences, showcasing its commitment to innovation. Anew Labs operates from Shanghai, Singapore, and San Jose, California, with a team of 36 core members. Its scientific advisory board includes notable figures like Liu Yongjun, former president of Innovent Biologics, enhancing its credibility in research and development.
